Back again and still writing my fourth novel. Up to chapter 19 now.Should be finished in another few weeks. What do you other writers think about Writing circles and the way they are run? There is one running in Darwen, Lancashire which is the closest to me, but unfortunately it is run during the day. OK if you are retired but what about the workers?
Writers want to write at any time. They also want to write to other writers at a time which is convienient to them. This is where I see the Alternative Writing Circle Blog - or possibly Web Page - coming in.
Writing is a lonely experience but not meeting other writers. That is where inspiration can come from. I have been lucky so far and not suffered from the so called 'Writers Block' but I have known other writers who have.
Let's have a way of keeping us writers in touch with each other not only at a meeting venue every week or so.
Keep those pens a'moving.

I've never gotten involved with a writers' circle as I never seem to find the time. I've completed around 11 novels now and had one in print - until the publisher went bust.
I think they are probably a very good idea so long as they are of a similar mind to you. I would doubt there'd be much to gain from a writer of fantasy and horror going to a mills and boon club. Could be wrong though!
